G Loomis Bass Spinning Rods: This rod was designed for fishing small jigs, small spinnerbaits and soft plastics where a shorter length is beneficial for both accuracy and lure presentation. Also a good choice for crappie fishing in deep water. It gives the angler maximum leverage with light line. It’s a nice stream/river smallmouth rod where smaller baits are essential for success. It has a magnum taper, meaning the tip is light and the butt is very strong. It makes the rod a little more versatile and allows you to use a wider variety of lures.
